BrassRing New User experience is currently available in the staging environment. We are enhancing this new experience based on the feedback we received from you. Please get in touch with your Infinite representative or the GSC to learn more about this exciting new user experience and let us know what can be done to improve it further.

BrassRing Dark Launch

Dark Launch features are those features that are released to the Staging environment only and are NOT released to the Production environment for a considerable amount of time.

This process gives an opportunity and enough time to test these features thoroughly before they are available in the production environment. Clients are requested to configure and test these features and provide their feedback and inputs to your respective Infinite representatives.

There are no Dark Launch features in this release.

The BrassRing visible changes for the current release are listed here.

New User Experience - Tool Tip

Previously, upon hovering on the theme toggle button in dark mode, the tooltip is displayed as " Toggle Dark Mode".

Starting this release, the tooltip displays "Toggle Light Mode" when the user is in dark mode and "Toggle Dark Mode" when the user is in light mode.

Data Insight Tool - Admin Experience

Starting this release, Admin users can view and manage the list of templates owned by other users via the Manage Templates module.

This is achieved with a new Tab, " Manage User Templates".

This is visible only to DIT administrator role users.

The default view displays all the Templates associated with the current user in a tabular format, with an option to switch the view to any other user.

The table has the following columns:

  • Check Box.

  • Template Name: Name of the template created by the user.

  • Description: Description of the template.

  • Run Mode: Schedule Type of the template.

    (Not Scheduled, Ad hoc Job, Scheduled) - The run mode for any public template would be as 'Scheduled'/'Adhoc' if at least one user schedules/runs it (including the schedule owner).

    Public templates that are scheduled will be displayed as Hyperlinks.

    Clicking on Hyperlink will open up a pop-up displaying the list of users who scheduled this template. For Private templates, there will be no Hyperlink.

  • Template Type: This column displays the template type (Public or Private).

A tab will have the following Action buttons:

  • Transfer Ownership: Allows the admin user to transfer ownership of one or more templates to another user.

  • Delete: Allows the admin user to Delete one or more templates.

Transfer Ownership Functionality:

  1. Button will have a tool tip “Transfers ownership of the selected templates and schedules of private templates to another user.”

  2. Selecting the "Transfer Ownership" button without selecting any of the templates, an alert message will be shown “You must select at least one template”.

  3. Selecting the "Transfer Ownership" button opens a popup page that displays a list of users to pick from to transfer ownership.

  4. The popup page will have a Header, a scale select control displaying the list of users, a [Transfer Ownership] button, and a [Cancel] button.

  • The pop-up page displays the list of all active users with the Administrator role and the users with the same role as the selected templates' user as a scale select list.

  • Allows the Admin user to search and select a single user.

  • The Header of the pop-up page displays the below message.

    "Listing the users with Administrative Role and the Role matching the selected user [Selected User Name]. Select a user from this list and click the [Transfer Ownership] button to transfer the ownership of the selected templates.

    Note

    Your content goes hereIf the selected template contains a private template, the associated schedule will be automatically transferred. If public, only the template will be transferred."

  • The “Available Users” list is populated by default with the top 200 Users sorted alphabetically by last name.

  • Users are displayed in this format "[LastName, FirstName]".

  • Users can be searched by entering either the first name or last name of a user and the search is performed using the contains operator.

  • Users can be moved from the “Available Users” list to the “Selected Users” list either by selecting a user and selecting the “move right” icon or by double-clicking on the user in the ‘Available Users’ list.

  • Users can be removed from the “Selected Users” list to the “Available Users” list either by selecting a user and selecting the “move left” icon or by double-clicking on the user in the ‘Selected Users’ list.

  • If the admin user attempts to move more than one user from the “Available Users” list to the “Selected user” the below warning message will be triggered. “Only one user can be selected”.

  • If the user attempts to search with a name that doesn’t exist, a ‘No results found’ message is displayed.

  • The footer would have “Transfer Ownership” and “Cancel” buttons.

  • Clicking on the “Transfer Ownership” button without selecting any user, a pop-up is displayed, You must select a user to transfer the ownership of templates.

  • Selecting a user and selecting the “Transfer Ownership” button completes the transfer action and a confirmation message is displayed in a popup with an ‘OK’ button.

    All the selected templates (and schedules, if any) has been transferred from the user [LastName, FirstName of Original Owner] to [LastName, FirstName of Transferred Owner].

  • Upon selecting the OK button the pop-up is closed and reloads the page clearing the transferred templates from the table.

  • Selecting the Cancel button closes the pop-up.

  • The public templates of the original owner would be transferred to the selected user and the templates remain Public. Any active schedules associated with the private templates are transferred to the new owner.

  • Any active schedules associated with the public templates of the original owner are transferred to the new owner. The active schedules of other users for the public templates is not be impacted.

  • If the new owner already has a schedule against a public template that is being transferred, the schedule from the original owner will still be transferred and the new owner now has 2 active schedules against a public template.

  • When transferring the templates, all the templates in the ‘Public’, ‘Default’, and ‘Received’ categories of [Original Owner] would be moved to the respective ‘Public’, ‘Default’, and ‘Received’ categories of [Transferred Owner]. The templates in custom categories of the [Original Owner] would be transferred to the 'Default Category' of the [Transferred Owner].

Delete Functionality:

  1. The delete button tool tip displays Deletes the selected templates and any associated schedules.

  2. Clicking on the Delete button without selecting any of the templates displays an alert message: You must select at least one template.

  3. Clicking on the Delete button by selecting one or more templates, a popup confirmation dialog is displayed:

    Confirmation message: This action will delete the selected template and any associated schedules. This action cannot be undone. Do you want to proceed? [Yes]. [No]

    • Selecting [Yes] deletes all the selected templates and its active schedule of private templates and a confirmation message is displayed in a popup with an OK button. (This will be a soft delete).

      • Confirmation Message: All the selected templates and associated schedules have been deleted

      • Selecting the OK button closes the popup and the Tab refreshes clearing the selected templates from the table.

    • Clicking [No] will close the confirmation dialog.

Requisitions: eLink Req Approval functionality

Previously, when a req was created, RFA was not automatically populating in the Req edit mode when approving a req via eLink.

The desired behavior is for the RFA to also not populate automatically in the req approval (eLink approval) workflow.

Starting this release, the req edit workflow and req approval workflow are aligned accordingly.

Talent Gateway: Privacy Policy Enhancement

Starting this release, candidates are enabled to select multiple privacy policy options.

The "Agree" button is activated on the privacy policy page only when the candidate accepts the consent corresponding to the chosen privacy policy option.

Talent Gateway:

  • A new talent gateway setting "Privacy Policy Type" is added to the responsive layout page, under the setting "Placement of privacy policy"

  • This is a radio button type with options "Single" and "Multiple" with default to "Single".

  • This setting is visible only if the client setting "Enable Multiple Privacy Policy Configurations" is enabled.

  • Once the Talent Gateway is configured to support "Multiple" privacy policies and saved, it cannot be changed to "Single".

    The "Single" option is disabled once the TG has the "Multiple" option selected and saved.

  • If "Privacy Policy Type" is "Multiple" then the text area "Privacy policy statement which asks consent" is disabled.

  • A new button with the label "Configure Multiple Privacy Policies" is added below the text area "Privacy policy statement which asks consent".

  • This setting is visible only if the client setting "Enable Multiple Privacy Policy Configurations" is enabled.

  • This setting is disabled if the "Privacy Policy Type" is "Single".

  • Clicking on this button opens a new window "Multiple Privacy Policy Configurations".

  • The New window "Multiple Privacy Policy Configurations" has

    • A button to add/delete widget that has

      • Privacy Policy Option (translatable) Type: Text Box

        • Type: Text Box

      • Privacy policy statement (translatable)

        • Type: Text Area

      • A button to add/delete consent texts

        • Label: "Consent Text"

        • Type: Text Box

      • A maximum of 5 content texts are allowed.

      • A maximum of 5 multiple privacy widgets are allowed.

      • Done and Cancel buttons.

Integrations: Skills Addition

This is an existing feature of Candidate Import with the Skills node added as an enhancement.

Starting this release, in the Mapping Tool, the Sample XML and Sample JSON are added with the Skills tag.

Talent Gateway: Privacy Policy Enhancement

Candidates are enabled to select multiple privacy policy options.

Below are the Workbench changes for multiple privacy policy options.

  • The following privacy policy settings are moved from the General section to a new ribbon with the name "Privacy Policy Settings".

    • Privacy Policy for new account creation.

    • Placement of privacy policy.

    • Privacy policy header.

    • Privacy policy statement which asks consent.

    • Privacy policy non-consent message.

    • Privacy policy qualifying question.

    • Qualifying answer to bypass privacy policy.

    • Qualifying answer to require privacy policy.

  • A new client setting "Enable Multiple Privacy Policy Configurations" with Yes/No options is added. Qualifying answer to bypass privacy policy. Qualifying answer to require privacy policy.
