BRASSRING Dark Launch

Dark Launch features are those that are released to the Staging environment only and are NOT released to the Production environment for a considerable amount of time.

This process gives an opportunity and enough time to test these features thoroughly before they are available in the production environment. Clients are requested to configure and test these features and provide their feedback and inputs to your respective Infinite representatives.

There are no Dark Launch features in this release.

BRASSRING VISIBLE CHANGES

The BrassRing visible changes for the current release are listed here.

Responsive Recruiter: Date applied field available for Output within a req folder 

  

Starting with this release, users can add the standard ‘Date applied’ field in the candidate results page within a req folder.  

 

Users can add or remove the ‘Date applied’ field within the candidate results page from all open reqs, cancel reqs, on-hold reqs, deleted reqs, & my open reqs panels. 

 

To enable this ‘Date applied’ field, users can access the below path  

 

Path: In BrassRing application>Hiring>Reqs>View all reqs>Open>Access the candidates in a req folder>Click on the gear icon to access the available fields>Add the ‘Date applied’ field.

Responsive Recruiter: Character limit increase for Standard Job Description Field

 

Starting with this release, the standard text area field characters limit is increased to 15000. Earlier, it was limited to 7500 characters only.

Responsive Recruiter: Speed browse – Forms not found 

 

It is observed after selecting multiple candidates in a req and clicking on the Speed Browse option an alert is displayed as “Forms not found” and in the Forms drop-down, the forms are not displayed. 

 

 This behavior is addressed with this release.

Responsive Recruiter: Autofill for select field types across languages 

 

Currently, if the source form was completed in a different language from the destination form, the autofill functionality is not working. Users need to switch the language for the autofill to work. 

 

Starting with this release, when the source form is created in a different language and the field types are of select type (single-select / multi-select / radio/checkbox type fields), the field value gets auto-filled on the destination form.

Responsive Recruiter: Sensitive attachments – Gateway Questionnaire Job response form 

 

Currently, the below user type privileges are not respected and the sensitive attachments via Gateway Questionnaire Job response form are accessible. 

 

Starting with this release, to access the sensitive attachments in the Gateway Questionnaire Job response form, the below user type privileges need to be enabled. 

  • User type privileges > Candidate Actions 2 > Attachments - view "All attachments uploaded via Gateway" 

  • Attachment categories > Override privileges in ‘Candidate Actions 2’ under the sensitive attachment privileges section should be set to ‘Yes’ 

  • Add the user type to ‘View Sensitive attachments – all’ or ‘View Sensitive attachments – my reqs

Agency Manager: Scaled Select on the Job Search page 

 

Questions with many options may impact the performance on the Search jobs and submit candidate’s page in Agency Manager. 

 

To address this, the Scaled Select feature is introduced in this release. 

 

For questions with over 200 options, instead of the existing dropdown, the Scaled Select feature launches a pop-up window when users click "Select" on the corresponding control. 

 

By default, the pop-up displays the first 200 options, allowing users to scroll or search to access additional records.  

 

Selected options are displayed on the parent page for review.

Talent Gateway: Twitter Integration

 

Brassring - Twitter integration which was broken due to revamp of Twitter’s API is now fixed.

BrassRing Clients can enable and use Sign in with Twitter on their Talent gateways.

To use Brassring - Twitter integration for social referral, clients need to buy a plan with Twitter and use those keys which will enable posting job referral links on Twitter

Sign In with Twitter 

Refer > Post to my networks > Twitter  

Req > Post to my Social Networks > Twitter

Talent Gateway: Profile page – Contact information 

 

Currently, when the candidate CV/Resume is imported from the ‘Import Profile’ option on the Talent Gateway with the State code, the full State name is not displayed in the ‘Contact Information’ section. 

 

Starting with this release, the full State name is displayed in the ‘Contact Information’ section. 

 

Path: Login to Talent Gateway > Candidate Zone > Profile > Import Profile

Talent Gateway: Chat export features from ChatBot 

 

Starting with this release, a new feature is available to export chat logs from Workbench as a zip file for a selected date range.

The exported chat data is downloaded in a zip file onto the user’s local machine. This way users can review past conversations and maintain records.  

 

Users can also view the below information from the ‘Audit Trail’ section 

  • The user who initiated the download

  • Date of download

  • The date range selected for export

Workbench: Enhanced Dependency Details 

Starting with this release, users can view the additional information in the Enhanced Dependency Details section helping users assess the impact on the system. 

 

  • When attempting to inactivate or delete any Forms and Fields, dependencies are presented in a tabular format. Clicking the 'Enhanced Dependency Details (as applicable)' link provides a comprehensive view of these dependencies directly on the screen, enhancing the user experience.

  • On the existing screen, details for dependencies - Integration, Posting Interface mapping are not displayed. Clicking the 'Enhanced Dependency Details (as applicable)' link these details are displayed.

  • For AutoFill dependency the dbname is added along with the display name for the field and form data.

  • The Options functional area now includes additional dependency details such as Field Associations, Impacted Gateway Questionnaire details, Scores, and RAM triggers.

This approach ensures that all dependencies are visible in the Enhanced Dependency Details before inactivating or deleting elements.
