# Onboard September Release

#### **ONBOARD FIXED DEFECTS**

**Onboard: E-Verify Name Field Character Limit**

Currently, when a user's first name or last name exceeds the character limit, a validation error is displayed in the E-Verify section.

The character limits on the E-Verify is:

First Name - 25 characters.

Last Name - 40 characters.

Starting with this release, a validation is implemented in the I-9 itself to limit the characters in the First and Last name fields so that they are not blocked at the E-Verify stage and prevent forcing them to reset the I-9 for name length changes.

**Onboard: I-9 Section 3**

Currently, in I-9 Section 3, when a user selects the first document as "I-94" with an Expiration Date as "D/S" and "Foreign Passport" as the second document, the third document is displayed as optional.

Starting with this release, this is fixed and the third document in Section 3 is mandatory when the first and second documents are "I-94" and "Foreign Passport" and the I-94 has an expiration date as "D/S".”
