# Req Approval Routing

### Req Approval Routing

- Updated Build 19.06.03. Req Approval routing can be configured to ensure that a user cannot edit the req during the approval process without the proper approvers reviewing the changes before the req opens.
- The Enforce approval re-route on req edits setting does not affect reqs being approved by using the req approval eLink workflow. If this setting is enabled on a req with an approval process that is being carried out by using eLinks, and an edit is made, the approval process is not automatically restarted.

### Process

1. Select Tools → Forms → Req Forms.
2. Select the**edit form approval pencil** for the req.
3. Select **Yes**to **Enforce approval re-route on req edits**.
4. Select **Save**.
