# View a Candidates Communication History

Abstract

Product: **BrassRing on Cloud**

## View a Candidates Communication History

There are two methods to view a candidates communication history in BrassRing on Cloud, by using the Talent Record of the Candidate, or the Send Candidate Communication window.

## Process

### View a candidates communication history from the Talent Record

1. To view a candidates communication history, open the candidates **Talent Record.**
2. Select **Communication**in the **Activity**section.
3. The list of communications sent to the candidate opens. Select the **Communication Name** to open and view the communication. Select the **Req number** to open that req folder.

### View a candidates communication history from the Send Candidate Communication window

Updated **Release 18.09.04.**

1. From a list of candidates, select a candidate and select Actions → Send Candidate Communication.
2. The **Send Candidate Communication** window opens. Access the **Communication History** section.
3. Select a Filter by using the pull-down menu to filter the communications.
  1. The **Candidate**filter shows communications that were sent to the specific candidate that you have accessed.
  2. The **Other Recipients**filter shows communications that were sent to recipients other than the candidate, such as a communication to the Hiring Manager to review the candidate's Talent Record.
  3. The **Event Manager** filter displays all communications sent from the Event Manager tool to the specific candidate.
  4. The **All**filter displays all communications set, regardless of who the recipient was.
