Badge and Course Descriptions:

Talent Onboard Manager

The Onboard Manager course covers all of the content that is needed to use the IBM Talent Management Solutions Onboard Manager product. The course covers:

  • An introduction to the Onboard Suite of products, including Onboard Manager, Onboard New Hire, and Onboard Configuration.

  • Your Tasks in Onboard Manager, including navigating Onboard Manager, managing your profile, and managing your tasks.

  • Managing New Hires, including using the Manage New Hires window, creating new hires, and exporting new hires.

  • Managing Forms (US only), including Form I-9, E-Verify, Form W-4, and State Tax Withholding Forms.

The course is designed to take approximately 2 hours to complete and includes videos, HTML5-based simulations, text, graphics, and an assessment. Simulations and videos contain narration. You might need to connect speakers or a headset to hear these items. An assessment score of 80% or higher is required to pass the course and earn the badge.

Talent Onboard Configuration

This course is designed to cover the information that you need to understand how to use Onboard Configuration effectively in your organization. Onboard Configuration is a configuration tool for the Onboard suite of products.

Before completing this course you must complete the Onboard Manager course. The Onboard Manager course is linked in this section. The content in this course is automatically available once the Onboard Manager Badge has been completed.

This course covers the following topics:

  • Introduction to the Onboard suite, including a recap of Onboard Manager and Onboard New Hire, and an introduction to Onboard Configuration.

  • Configuring Onboard Manager, including settings, managing user groups and types, task settings, email settings, reminder settings, and location and franchise-based tasks.

  • Activity and Task Management, including managing dictionaries, forms, activities, and workflows.

  • Configuring Onboard New Hire, including integration settings, and the new hire profile view.

  • Managing Reports, including report permissions, running standard reports, and running custom reports.

The course is designed to take approximately 4 hours to complete and includes videos, HTML5-based simulations, text, graphics, and an assessment. Simulations and videos contain narration. You might need to connect speakers or a headset to hear these items.

At the end of this course, an assessment must be completed and passed to earn the Onboard Configuration badge.
