Candidate Withdrawal Configuration
There are two steps to configuring the candidate withdrawal process.
Configure a withdraw HR Status. An existing HR Status can be used, or a new HR Status can be created for this purpose. For more information on creating HR Statuses, see Manage HR Statuses.
Configure the Talent Gateway for candidate withdrawals.
HR statuses can also be configured to block candidate reactivation for any candidate in a req folder. If the setting Block job submission reactivation when any candidate in req folder is at this HR status is checked for an HR status, then reactivation is not possible for other candidates that have withdrawn their application.
For example, this setting can be activated for a Hired status. When any candidate is set to the Hired status, no candidate that has withdrawn their application can reactivate it.
For a candidate to reactivate a withdrawn application:
The number of positions remaining in the req needs to be 1 or more.
The req status needs to be Open.
No candidate inside the req folder have a HR status with the setting Block job submission reactivation when any candidate in req folder is at this HR status.
After a candidate withdraws the application, only that candidate, with that Talent Gateway profile, on that Talent Gateway, can reactivate the application.
BrassRing users cannot update or undo the designated withdraw HR status inside BrassRing.
