Configure Document Packet Templates

BrassRing allows users to post packets of documents to the Candidate Zone/Portal. These packets are called Document Packet Templates. They might include Offer Letter, Benefits Information, Company Information, and so on. If your company has activated this function, system administrators have the privilege to manage document packet templates.

Process

  1. Select Menu → Admin → Communications → Add document packet templates.

  2. Insert a Document packet template name.

  3. If needed, enter a Preconfigured subject. Select Add to add merge fields to the subject.

  4. Enter the instructional text and the number of days the packet is to remain posted. Merge fields cannot be added to Document Packet template instructional text. Use spell check to correct any possible errors in the instructional text.

  5. Select Choose File, select the file from your computer, and select Upload to include files in the packet.

    1. Uploaded files are listed in the Upload attachments section. This section includes the file name and type, the date the file was uploaded, and the file size.

    2. Select the file name to display the document.

    3. Select the delete icon to remove the document from the packet.

  6. Select the Org groups authorized to use or administer the template.

  7. Select Yes to Active document packet templates to set the Document packet template to active.

  8. When finished adding the template, select Save.

Edit a Document Packet Template

  1. Select Menu → Admin → Communications → Document Packet Templates.

  2. Locate the Document Packet Templates to edit and select the Edit icon.

  3. Edit the template as needed and select Save.

Deactivate a Document Packet Template

  1. Select Menu → Admin → Communications → Document Packet Templates.

  2. Locate the Document Packet Template to deactivate and select the Deactivate icon.

  3. Select Deactivate.

Delete Document Packet Template

  1. Select Menu → Admin → Communications → Blurbs.

  2. Locate the Document Packet Template to delete and select the Delete icon.

  3. Select Delete. A message confirms that the document template was deleted successfully.
