Configure Sources

• Sources are added to the Lead Profile when creating or editing a Lead that describe where the Lead was sourced from, such as a recruitment event, or Acoustic Campaign landing page.

• Sources that are associated with the TalentFilter Job Boards must have the correct Source Description and Source Code to work correctly in Lead Manager. A list of Talent Match Source Description and Codes are provided on this page.

Process:

Access Sources

1. To access Sources, select Tools → Lead Manager.

2. Select Administer Sources.

3. The Administer Sources window opens.

View Inactive or Active Fields

1. To view Inactive Lead Fields, select Inactive.

2. To view Active Lead Fields, select Active.

Add a New Source

1. To add a Source, select Add New Source.

2. Insert a unique Code for the Source, and a Description.

   • The Code describes what the source is saved as in the database. After saving, this Code cannot be edited.

   • The Description is the text that displays in the Lead Manager Lead Profile.

3. Select Save.

4. The new Source appears in the list of Sources. When adding or editing a Lead Profile, the Sources are available to select in the Contact Information section.

Edit a Source

1. To edit a Source, select the Edit Source icon for the source.

   

2. Update the Description, and select Save. Source Codes cannot be edited.

Inactivate a Source

1. To inactivate a Source, select the Source, and select Inactivate.

2. A confirmation message displays indicating the Source has been inactivated, select OK.

Delete a Source

1. To delete a Source, select the source, and select Delete.

2. A confirmation message displays indicating the Source has been deleted, select OK.
