Multilanguage Candidate Communications

For a list of supported languages see Configuration → Languages and Browser Support.The following event fields are language customizable during event configuration for sending candidate communications by using message tokens. Clients are responsible for creating the translations.

• Event Name

• Event Template Name

• Activity Name

• Event Date

• Event Description

• Event Location (only if Other is selected)

• Room Names

• Registration Pages

Language customizable event fields display with a + sign. Select the + sign to expand each event field and insert the text for the applicable language.

Only the primary value entered for each of these fields displays in any screen or pull-down list containing the field. Any translated that are values entered into the additional language fields display only in candidate communication (message tokens and messages).

This setting also controls multilanguage features of language, including language customization configuration of multi-language event batch automated messages, and the display of language columns within Event Manager. Language column sorting allows users to send communications based on a candidate's language in the following Event Manager screens:

• Scheduled Candidates

• Unscheduled Candidates

• Candidate Search - Unscheduled Candidates

• Candidate Search - Scheduled Candidates

Process

Enable Multilanguage Candidate Communications

1. In Event Manager, select Admin → System → General.

2. Scroll to Multi Language Candidate Communications

3. Select Yes.
