Abstract
Some employers have agreements/policies. When present, you will need to review them and acknowledge that you read them.
Agreements are evidence of mutual accord or understanding between two or more legally competent parties, about the relative duties and rights regarding current or future performance. Although a binding contract can (and often does) result from an agreement, an agreement typically documents the give-and-take of a negotiated settlement and a contract specifies the minimum acceptable standard of performance.
Policies include a set of basic principles and associated guidelines formulated and enforced by the governing body of an organization, to direct and limit its actions in pursuit of long-term goals.
Review an agreement/policy.
Acknowledge that you read it. Some agreements/policies could require that you use an eSignature to sign/submit it.
